This new system update lays the foundation for additional new features and services slated for future release. Billing engine optimization for improved data processing performance is but one of the important new features provided with this latest update.
 
This new UTILITY STAR System update features improved data transmission security by virtue of higher level encryption methodology, resulting in increased protection for sensitive utility customer information. Customer data such as customer bank account information, credit card account number, card holder name & expiration date, driver license number and SSN are now more secure than ever.
   
Future UTILITY STAR System upgrades will be released under this new platform architecture, making this is an important new product release for all Able Software customers using UTILITY STAR Platinum® (UTP) and UTILITY STAR Basic® (USB) software systems. 
  
UTILITY STAR Platinum® was developed using Microsoft’s .Net toolset and will provide Utility Companies with advanced technology enabling them to improve customer service, operational efficiency and increase profitability.
